Legends'Room
An interactive installation that immerses visitors in tales and legends brought to life with images and music in the Legends'Room, the new multimedia space at Gruyères Castle
This project was specially designed to redevelop the space in the great tower of Gruyères Castle. pen to the public since May 2023, the Hall of Legends is a multimedia space where visitors can dive into the heart of Gruyères’ legendary stories in a captivating staging.
On the recommendation of the talented brothers Sam and Fred Guillaume (Ciné3D), who were in charge of the room’s scenography, we were commissioned to program and build the interface for the interactive kiosk placed at the center of the installation. The design of the “story boxes” was created byKläfiger Muséographie and is inspired by old image viewers.
The five stories presented in the story boxes were selected by Michèle Widmer, cultural mediator at Gruyères Castle, then rewritten by Robert Sandoz, director of Théâtre du Jura. Finally, they were illustrated by the Guillaume brothers and set to music by Fribourg composer Mathieu Kyriakidis.
